In this "crash course" I develop system theory from the viewpoint of radical constructivism, i.e. I describe the observer system as an operationally closed construction, and communication as a constitutive process for systems in general.

I write the text as "hyperbook", i.e. as hypertext, which can also be flipped through like a book. In addition to hyperlinks, I make further remarks, a table of contents and a register as I know it from books. I will also put a print version on the net later, but actually I care a lot that I write the text as open hypertext with a glossary (hyperlexicon), which does not have to be read in a certain order, and which, unlike books, is never finished (logbook).
